Technique 1.145 Change Leadership Questionnaire

Introduction

The below questions/statements are looking at 6 different qualities, ie leadership, 3 Cs (communications, community and collaboration), human focus, 3 Rs (readiness, resilience, resistance), agile and personal qualities.

Questions/statements:

Tick the appropriate answer, ie 'never', 'sometimes' or 'always', to the below 25 questions/statements

Please answer what is rather than what should be!

14. It is important to explore a process from the perspective of uncovering opportunities and pain points      
15. You realise the importance of key stakeholders, change champions, informal leaders, etc to activate and achieve change      
16. You encourage others who have different points of view from your own, to express them      
17. You encourage others to challenge the status quo, current thinking, etc      
18. You understand your organisational culture and the impact the change will have on it      
19. You encourage continual feedback during the change so you can understand what people are thinking and feeling      
20. As much as possible you delegate, grant autonomy, encourage engagement, empowerment and collaboration, etc during the change      
21. You understand the micro, eg  project, and macro, eg organisation, elements of change readiness      
22. You adopt an approach that is adaptable and flexible to change      
23. You realise that inspiring is just as important as informing people during change      
24. You understand the importance of understanding the meaning of non-verbal responses      
25. You get engagement from other important stakeholders at the start of the change process
