Transitional Team's Transient Role

. This team is a representative group of the organisation which commits its time and energy to managing the change process
. Once the process stabilises, the transitional team disbands ‐ it is not intended to be a permanent structure, ie "collapsible" team
. Managing change means dealing with
- the dialogue between people leading the change effort and those who are expected to implement the new strategies
- the organisational context in which change can occur
- emotional connections that are essential for any successful transition
