Technique 2.101 Identify Opportunities
Some questions to help identify opportunities and sense of urgency
1. What changes are already underway in your organisation or team or in your own work?
For each situation, ask these questions
i) What progress if any has already been made?
ii) What issues, challenges, etc, if any are being experienced?
iii) Who is currently involved in the work and how?
2. What new changes are needed in your organisation or team or in your own work?
For each situation, ask these questions
i) how would you know you were successful in your efforts?
ii) which people could make a real difference if they were involved in this work?
iii) what opportunities and challenges can you imagine experiencing as you move forward with these initiatives?
